George Machias is a postgraduate of the University of Westminster in Great Britain, from where in 1999 he obtained the title of MSc in Interactive Multimedia.
He studied Graphic Arts at the Department of Graphic Arts of the TEI of Athens (degree 1988) and attended the Departments of Decoration and Arrangement of Architectural Spaces (1987) and Visual Communication and Advertising (1992) of the Vakalo College. He has worked in publishing, newspapers, magazines as Art Director and from 1993 to 2008 as a freelancer in the field of image processing, multimedia applications and graphic arts also. He has participated in conferences and exhibitions both in the organization and as a speaker.
He has been teaching Digital Image Processing and Multimedia at the Department of Photography and Audiovisual Arts since 1995.
